swoon: dictionary paper wall art & cardboard trophies

all images from the Roccoco Co Etsy Store

It feels like spring here today and the first sign of warm weather always makes me want to clean house and get organized.  Lately I’ve been feeling like the art in my house feels tired (or maybe I’m just tired of it) so I’m thinking of updating the gallery wall in my living room and I’ve been shopping for prints.   I already own two prints from the Etsy store Rococco Co and I am thinking of purchasing a few more.   I love these botanical and animal illustrations on vintage dictionary pages.

I also just ordered a new Large Buck from Cardboard Safari and I can’t wait to put this together and hang it on the wall.  I’ve had their micro buck in my house for the last few years and I finally decided that it was time to purchase the big one.  These cardboard animal trophies are a fun and animal-friendly nod to this home decor trend.  I’m also thinking of spray painting it hot pink, what do you think?

I’ll be sure to post some pictures of the wall once it’s done.  In the meantime, let me know if you have any good sources for art or tricks for updating a gallery.
